Department of Religious Studies Expertise
Mission:
To conduct religious studies expertise to ensure the legal assessment of religious materials and prevent the dissemination of extremist content in the information and educational environment.
Key Functions:
- Conducting expert assessments of religious literature, websites, programmes, items, media materials, and other relevant materials.
- Assessing the compliance of religious content with applicable legislation and ethical standards.
- Maintaining a database of expert opinions, analytical notes, and other analytical materials.
- Participating in administrative proceedings and providing expert advice to government authorities.
- Preparing proposals for improving regulatory legal acts.
- Developing and delivering professional development courses for experts.
- Conducting expert assessments of materials identified through the Cyber Surveillance system.
